Suzy Sachs—Talent development extraordinaire, Suzy Sachs, is responsible for launching the careers of Hillary Swank and Brendan Fraser, among others. The Queen of teen and tween talent development and production is also an accomplished television director and producer. Suzy is currently producing and directing a multi-tiered project in film, TV and music - the next J-Pop supergroup, the Ajuku Girls. Kathi Gillmore—A classically trained ballet dancer, triple-threat performer Kathi Gillmore made her Broadway debut in Harold Prince’s Tony Award winning revival of ShowBoat. National tours include Ragtime, A Chorus Line, and Meet Me In St. Louis, (understudy for Debby Boone). Other credits include award winning roles in Me and My Girl and Western Star, as well as numerous performances in Singin’ in the Rain, Guys & Dolls, Carousel, Little Shop of Horrors, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and many others. Along with fellow O.C. native and Broadway star Stephanie J. Block, Kathi is proud to have played the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland, and many other Disney shows over the years. Prior to her years as a Disney performer, Kathi was a member of the Young Americans and toured extensively with them in both the US and overseas. A fourth generation Californian, Kathi once again resides in the O.C. and is currently employed as a Casting Director at the Disneyland Resort. |

Billy Purnell is one of southern California’s leading vocal technique and performance teachers, with a large clientele in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire of Southern California. He conducts workshops coast to coast and internationally, and his home- study voice program, the Ultimate Voice Training for Singers®, has sold in over 75 countries around the world. Billy’s personal client list includes a wide variety of professional singers and performers, including major label recording artists, Broadway actors, Disney® and Nickelodeon® stars, touring groups, voice teachers and other professional voice users, but his focus is mainly on artist development in voice and performance skills. He has trained four different winners of CBS-TV’s Star Search, three winners of the coveted Los Angeles Music Center Spotlight Award, and winners of NBC-TV’s America’s Most Talented Kids, Showtime at the Apollo, and the McDonald’s® Gospelfest, just to name a few. Billy also trained last year’s Inland Idol winners Briana Tyson and Darian Gargen, and many vocalists on Fox-TV’s American Idol. Billy has been vocal instructor to the world famous Young Americans, America Sings, and Camp Electric Youth, and his own recital events, called Kids 4 Kids, have raised over $60,000 for children’s charities all over Southern California. Shantih Haast – Recording Engineer/Producer/Arranger/Composer since 1982. As owner/operator and chief engineer, Shantih has established “Studio 770” in Brea, CA as one of the leading recording studios in Orange County. Working with artists such as David Benoit, Dave Kos and Al Jareau, Shantih brings years of expertise to every project. She produced vocalist Peggie Perkins’ debut CD entitled “AT LAST” which was released in 2008 to rave reviews and is currently producing a variety of new artists. NARAS (grammys) voting member since 1998, Haast Music Publishing (ASCAP) since 2005. |

Tony Atienza earned his Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of California, Irvine in 1990. While in the L.A. area, he was a singer/dancer for The Young Americans from 1985-1990. In 1989 he became the director of the Young Americans "New Kids Show". He has done commercials, dinner theater, local musical theatre productions, musical director at the Old Globe Theater (Summer Music Camp). Major tours include: France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan (3 month tour to Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, Hiroshima and Sapporo).
One of his highlights was singing the national anthem for the San Diego Padres baseball game, TWICE!. He attended San Diego State University pursuing his Masters Degree in Conducting. At SDSU he was the Assistant Conductor of the Choral Music Department. He was an adjunct faculty member at SDSU from 1992-1993 directing the women's choral ensemble. He is currently an adjunct professor at Southwestern College teaching piano and musical theater.
He came to Chula Vista High School in 1993 to be the director of The Main Attraction. 2008 they won a national title winning GRAND CHAMPIONS at the FAME Hawaii national show choir competition! Since then, they have won many awards including first place at the Fullerton College Jazz Festival in 1996, 1997 and 2002. In 1995 he founded the “Southern California Show-Choir Invitational” which has become the most prestigious show-choir competition on the west coast! His groups have traveled to: San Francisco, Hawaii, Toronto, Niagara Falls, New York, Orlando, Bahamas, London, England and Paris, France.
He also has worked as the musical director for the annual SCPA musical. His musical directing credits include: Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, Good News, The Wiz, Grease and The Rocky Horror Show at Southwestern College in 2006! Tony Atienza is past president of the California Music Educators' Association and past president of Phi Mu Alpha, Sinfonia, a fraternity for men of music at San Diego State University. |

Tracy Simeon has been entertaining audiences both on stage and screen since the age of 10. She has had an opportunity to perform at some of the best theaters including the Shrine Auditorium, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Orange County Performing Arts Center. She has performed in "Annie", "Fiddler on the Roof", "Jerry's Girls", " South Pacific", and three companies of "Peter Pan", to name a few. Some of her television and movie credits include "The Jerk" with Steve Martin and "The Bad News Bears". She spent a few years performing with The Young Americans in different venues across the country. During that same time, she also taught tap at the Orange County Performing High School. |
